The Rotary Club of Portobello, Edinburgh
A warm welcome awaits Rotarians and visitors alike to the Rotary Club of Portobello.
Our Club is very much involved in a number of exciting community and international projects for 2007-2008.
We have an especially strong commitment to the support and promotion of Youth Activities including the Rotary Youth Exchange Programme, Rotary Ambassadorial and Georgia Scholars and the Rotary Youth Leadership Awards Scheme (RYLA). We are also proud supporters of the annual Rotary Young Musician Competition.
Above all we enjoy fellowship and commitment to our weekly meetings and co-operation on special projects.
Service Above Self is the focus of our involvement - but we don't take ourselves too seriously. Fun and friendship are a vital part of the Rotary Club of Portobello.
Club Meetings
Our club meetings are held every Wednesday evening at 6.30pm at the Kings Manor Hotel on Milton Road East, Portobello (view map).
Many of our meetings feature talks by guest speakers and Youth Activities student visits from countries all over the world.
We particularly welcome members of other Rotary clubs to our meetings. If you are interested in speaking at one of our club meetings, please contact us.
